Instructions

1-First: bring the 8 large cloves garlic and 1 ΒΌ cups water to a boil in a small saucepan. This step helps infuse the water with garlic’s robust aroma.

2-Next, in a blender, combine the Β½ cup ancho chile powder, 3 tablespoons apple cider vinegar or distilled white vinegar, 1 Β½ teaspoons kosher salt, 1 teaspoon Mexican oregano or marjoram, Β½ teaspoon ground cinnamon, Β½ teaspoon ground cumin, and ΒΌ teaspoon ground black pepper.
