๐Ÿ“ This Summer Berry Trifle combines fresh berries and creamy layers for a refreshing and visually stunning dessert.
๐Ÿฐ Perfect for warm days, itโ€™s easy to prepare ahead and offers vibrant flavors with every bite.

  • Total Time: 8 hours 25 minutes
  • Yield: 8-10 servings 1x

Ingredients

Scale

3/4 cup seedless raspberry jam

1 quart strawberries (hulled and sliced into 1/4-inch pieces)

1 pint raspberries

1 pint blueberries

1.5 cups cold heavy whipping cream

16 ounces cream cheese at room temperature

1.75 cups confectionersโ€™ sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 package (7 ounces) crisp ladyfingers

Fresh mint (to taste)

Some reserved berries (from the mixed berries above)

Instructions

1-First, heat the raspberry jam until it becomes liquid, then mix it with the sliced strawberries, raspberries, and blueberries. Let this berry mixture sit for a bit to soak up the flavors.

2-Next, whip the cold heavy cream until stiff peaks form, which gives your dessert that light, airy feel.

3-Now, beat the softened cream cheese with the confectionersโ€™ sugar until itโ€™s smooth and creamy. Stir in the vanilla extract for a nice touch of flavor. Fold in one-third of the whipped cream first, then add the rest to keep everything fluffy.

4-In a trifle dish, begin layering by placing the ladyfingers at the bottom. Add the berry mixture on top, followed by the cream, and repeat until you run out of ingredients. Make sure to leave a 1-inch border on the top layer for a neat look. Finally, garnish with reserved berries and mint if you like, then refrigerate for at least 8 hours to let it set.
