  • Total Time: 35 minutes
  • Yield: 12 bombs

Ingredients

– 1 pound ground beef (80/20)

– Β½ cup BBQ sauce

– Β½ cup sharp cheddar cheese, shredded

– 1 teaspoon garlic powder

– 1 teaspoon onion powder

– Β½ teaspoon salt

– ΒΌ teaspoon black pepper

– 12 slices thick-cut bacon

– Additional BBQ sauce (quantity as desired)

– Sliced green onions (quantity as desired)

– Pickled jalapeΓ±o slices (quantity as desired)

Instructions

1-In a large bowl, mix the ground beef with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until it’s well combined this is your base for that juicy texture. Flatten portions of the mixture into oval patties on parchment paper to make stuffing easier.

2-Add a generous amount of shredded cheddar in the center of each patty, then fold the meat around the cheese, sealing the edges tightly so nothing leaks out during cooking.

3-Wrap each stuffed patty with bacon slices, using toothpicks to hold everything in place if needed, and arrange them on a lined baking tray. Brush on some BBQ sauce for that extra tangy kick, then pop them in a preheated oven at 375Β°F (190Β°C) for 30-40 minutes until the bacon crisps up and the inside reaches 160Β°F (71Β°C). If you want a smoky twist, finish them on the grill for a few minutes, but remember to soak those toothpicks first to avoid any burning mishaps.
