๐Ÿฅœ Packed with protein and customizable toppings, this snack is perfect for satisfying cravings while adding nutritious benefits.

  • Total Time: 2 hours 10 minutes
  • Yield: About 8-10 servings 1x

Ingredients

Scale

1 cup plain full-fat or whole milk Greek yogurt

3/4 cup creamy peanut butter (crunchy or almond butter can be substituted)

1/4 cup vanilla flavored protein powder (optional, affects texture)

1 to 2 tablespoons maple syrup or honey (or preferred liquid sweetener)

1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 cup dark chocolate chips (milk or white chocolate can be substituted)

Flaky sea salt (optional, for topping)

Instructions

1-First, grab a medium bowl and stir together 1 cup of plain full-fat Greek yogurt, 3/4 cup creamy peanut butter, 1/4 cup vanilla flavored protein powder (if you’re using it), 1 to 2 tablespoons of maple syrup or honey, and 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract. Mix until it’s smooth and creamy that thick, spreadable texture is what we’re aiming for! Next, spread this mixture evenly onto a parchment-lined sheet pan, like a quarter sheet pan, making sure it’s about 1/4 to 1/2 inch thick.

2-Now, for the chocolate layer, melt 1 cup of dark chocolate chips in the microwave. Do this in 30-second increments, stirring each time to avoid any overheating mess. Once melted, spread it evenly over the yogurt mixture it’s like giving your bark a chocolate hug! Pop the whole thing in the freezer for at least 2 to 3 hours; longer is better for easy cutting. After it’s frozen solid, sprinkle on that flaky sea salt if you like, then break it into pieces. Let it sit out for a few minutes before digging in for that perfect creamy bite!
