1 egg

Β½ cup milk

2 ΒΌ cups peeled and chopped apples

12 cups oil for frying

2 cups powdered sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

34 tablespoons milk

Additional cinnamon (to taste)

Gluten-free flour blend

Almond milk for vegan

Coconut sugar for natural option

Instructions

1-In a bowl, whisk together 1 cup flour, 1 Β½ teaspoons baking powder, ΒΌ teaspoon salt, 2 tablespoons sugar, and 1 teaspoon cinnamon to mix the dry ingredients well.

2-In a separate bowl, whisk 1 egg with Β½ cup milk to combine the wet ingredients smoothly.

3-Combine the wet and dry mixtures, then gently fold in 2 ΒΌ cups peeled and chopped apples to keep the batter light.

4-Drop heaping teaspoons of batter into the hot oil, frying until golden brown on both sides for about 2-3 minutes per side.

5-Remove the fritters onto paper towels to drain excess oil, and fry in small batches to maintain the oil temperature.

6-For the glaze, mix 2 cups powdered sugar, 1 teaspoon vanilla extract, 3-4 tablespoons milk, and additional cinnamon until smooth.

7-Dip the warm fritters in the glaze and place them on parchment paper to set for a few minutes.
