Ingredients
2 thin slices baked leg ham
4 large thin slices Mojo Marinated Pork
2 pieces of white baguettes, 6 inches (15 cm) in length, cut in half
Melted butter for brushing
American mustard for spreading
2 thin slices Swiss cheese
2 to 3 dill pickles, thinly sliced
Instructions
1-Heat a skillet: Heat a skillet over medium heat. Cook ham and pork slices on each side until slightly browned, then remove them to a plate.
2-Butter the cut sides: Butter the cut sides of the baguettes and place them cut side down in the skillet for 2 minutes until lightly browned, then remove.
3-Layer the bottom halves: Layer the bottom halves of the baguettes with pork, ham, cheese, and pickles, cutting or folding ingredients to fit. Spread mustard on the cut side of the top halves, then put them on the sandwich.
4-Butter the outside: Butter the outside of both bottom and top baguette pieces.
5-Press the sandwich: Heat the skillet over medium-high heat, place the sandwiches in the skillet, cover with baking paper, and weigh down with a heavy skillet or pot to press the sandwich. Cook for 3 minutes on each side until the bread is dark golden and crispy and the cheese is melted.
6-Let the sandwiches stand: Let the sandwiches stand for 1 minute before cutting, then serve immediately.
