Instructions

1-Peel, core, and slice apples into Β½ inch thick slices to ensure they cook evenly.

2-Melt 3 tablespoons of salted butter in a large skillet over medium heat until it’s fully melted and bubbling.

3-Add ΒΌ cup granulated sugar, ΒΌ cup light brown sugar, and 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon, stirring constantly until the sugar absorbs into the butter, which takes about 30 to 60 seconds.

4-Stir in the sliced apples and 1 tablespoon lemon juice, then cook while stirring frequently until the apples are tender when pierced with a fork, around 10 minutes.

5-Serve them warm, perhaps with vanilla ice cream, pancakes, French toast, or pork chops for a complete meal.
