Ingredients
3 pounds frozen meatballs (beef, turkey, chicken, or vegetarian)
1 20-ounce can pineapple chunks, drained
2 cups BBQ sauce
ΒΌ cup soy sauce
ΒΌ cup rice wine vinegar
ΒΌ cup brown sugar
1 tablespoon fresh grated ginger
3 cloves garlic
2 tablespoons chopped chives for garnish
Instructions
1-Add the frozen meatballs and drained pineapple chunks to a crock pot.
2-In a separate bowl, whisk together the BBQ sauce, soy sauce, rice wine vinegar, brown sugar, fresh grated ginger, and garlic.
3-Pour the sauce mixture over the meatballs and pineapple in the crock pot.
4-Gently toss to coat everything evenly.
5-Cover the crock pot and cook on HIGH for 2-3 hours or on LOW for 5-6 hours.
6-Sprinkle with chopped chives before serving.
7-Serve warm as an appetizer with toothpicks or as a main dish over white rice.
