🍀🧚 Whip up this addictive Leprechaun Bait snack mix for St. Patrick’s Day – a perfect blend of sweet, salty, and crunchy with green candy-coated chocolates and white chocolate coating!
🎉 No-bake, ready in minutes, it’s a fun, festive treat that kids and adults love for parties or gifting.

  • Total Time: 25 minutes
  • Yield: 6 servings

Ingredients

– 2 cups corn or rice cereal for crispy base

– 1 cup mini pretzel twists for sweet and salty contrast

– 1 1/2 cups marshmallow cereal for soft, chewy pockets

– 1/2 cup marshmallows, separated from the marshmallow cereal for soft, chewy pockets

– 3/4 cup green candy-coated chocolates, divided for festive pops and topping

– 1 (11-ounce) bag white chocolate chips for coating that holds everything together

– 1 1/2 teaspoons vegetable oil for coating that holds everything together

Instructions

1-First Step: Line a large sheet pan with parchment paper. This helps prevent sticking and makes cleanup easy.

2-Second Step: In a large bowl, combine the corn or rice cereal, mini pretzel twists, marshmallow cereal, separated marshmallows, and half of the green candy-coated chocolates. Stir gently until the mix looks evenly distributed.

3-Third Step: In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the white chocolate chips and vegetable oil. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring after each, then continue with 25-second intervals.

4-Fourth Step: Stir until smooth. If the chocolate needs a little more time, use 10-second bursts and stir between each burst so it melts evenly.

5-Fifth Step: Pour the melted white chocolate over the mixture and gently stir to coat evenly. Work quickly because melted chocolate sets fast, and you want the cereal mix to stay glossy.

6-Sixth Step: Spread the coated mixture onto the prepared sheet pan. Use a spatula to level it into an even layer so it breaks into similar-sized pieces later.

7-Seventh Step: Sprinkle the remaining green candy-coated chocolates on top. This gives Leprechaun Bait that classic festive look from the very first bite.

8-Final Step: Let harden at room temperature or refrigerate for 10 20 minutes. Once firm, break into pieces to serve or package.
