Ingredients
2 small ripe bananas
1 cup 2% milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 tablespoon maple syrup
Instructions
1-Combine 2 small ripe bananas, 1 cup 2% milk, 1 tablespoon maple syrup, and 1 teaspoon vanilla extract in the ice cream maker’s pint container.
2-Blend the mixture using an immersion blender until it’s smooth. If you don’t have one, a whisk or handheld masher works well to mash the bananas and mix everything thoroughly.
3-Seal the container and freeze it for 24 hours to let it set properly.
4-Remove the container from the freezer and place it in the ice cream maker. Select the “Lite Ice Cream” setting or a similar light option for the best results.
5-If the mixture is crumbly after the first spin, press re-spin once. If it’s still not smooth, re-spin again until you get a creamy consistency.
6-Serve right away with your favorite toppings for a fresh, homemade treat.
