  • Total Time: 10 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings

Ingredients

– 1 cup diced mango (fresh, peeled and diced)

– 2 cups pineapple juice

– 5 ounces light rum

– 1 ounce triple sec (orange liqueur)

– 8 ounces lemon-lime soda or club soda

– Crushed ice for serving

– Fresh mint for garnish (optional)

Instructions

1-Start by peeling and dicing the fresh mango to get that 1 cup ready.

2-Add the 1 cup diced mango, 2 cups pineapple juice, 5 ounces light rum, and 1 ounce triple sec to a blender, then blend until smooth for a creamy base.

3-Fill glasses with crushed ice until they are about three-quarters full to keep the drink chilled.

4-Pour the blended mixture into each glass, filling to about three-quarters full for the perfect portion.

5-Top each glass with about 2 ounces of lemon-lime soda or club soda, then stir gently to mix without losing the fizz.

6-Garnish with fresh mint if you like, and serve right away for the best taste.

7-For a frozen twist, swap fresh mango with frozen mango and add 4 cups of ice to the blender before blending everything together.
