  • Total Time: 1 hour 30 minutes
  • Yield: 8 servings 1x

Ingredients

Scale

2 lbs ground chuck

1 cup diced yellow onion

1/2 cup diced bell pepper

3 tablespoons milk

Several dashes Worcestershire sauce

1 tablespoon steak sauce

2 tablespoons ketchup

1 teaspoon salt (or to taste)

1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper (or to taste)

1 teaspoon onion powder

1/4 teaspoon garlic powder

2 eggs, lightly beaten

1/4 cup plain bread crumbs

1/3 cup ketchup

2 tablespoons brown sugar

1/2 teaspoon dry mustard powder

1 tablespoon steak sauce

Instructions

1-First: preheat the oven to 375ยฐF (190.5ยฐC) and line a baking sheet with aluminum foil to make cleanup easier. In a large bowl, combine all the meatloaf ingredients using a spatula, then finish mixing with your hands for an even blend. Shape the meat mixture into a loaf on the lined baking sheet, aiming for a nice, even form.

2-Next: whisk the glaze ingredients in a small bowl until smooth and spoon half of it evenly over the top of the meatloaf using a brush. Bake the meatloaf for 1 hour, then brush on the remaining glaze and bake for an additional 15 minutes or until fully cooked. Let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing into 1-inch pieces and serve with your preferred side dishes for a complete meal.
